Collage 11: You Have the Thing I Love, But the Need in Me is Way Too Much

A collage based on every variation of “You have the thing I love/But the need in me is way too much” from the song “Me and Mr Wolf” vis-a-vis “Anguish of the Marrow”. There are four base pictures: in the top left corner is a picture of Angel Dust pole-dancing from the “Addict” music video. To the right is a picture from the pilot of Charlie picking up Alastor’s hand and removing it from her shoulder with a grimace. In the bottom left corner is a picture of Vox from “Stayed Gone” seething with rage and glaring to his right. To the right of that is fanart of Alastor and Vox facing off. To the right of the picture of Angel, above the picture of Charlie, is text from “Anguish of the Marrow” of Angel talking about how he can be clingy and has ruined past romantic relationships. Over the picture of Angel, spilling onto that block of text, are the lyrics “I have the thing you love/But the need in me is way too much” line by line. In the bottom left of the picture of Angel are the lyrics “You have the thing I love/But the need in me is way too much”, line by line, followed by the text “to think that he might one day slip, get greedy, demand too much./Be abandoned” broken into two lines. On the bottom left picture of Vox is the text “skilled only in sales and grift– and envious, coveting the substance of those with real quality.” The text cascades onto Alastor, who is on the left in the fanart to the right, and ends at eye level with Vox. Below that text are the lyrics “I have the thing/The thing/You love”, starting just within the picture of Vox from “Stayed Gone” but mostly over Alastor.. Cascading between Alastor and Vox in the fanart is the text “You love/I want Vox dead by M Y hand/You die/Die”. “I want Vox dead by M Y hand” has a lighter background color than the song lyrics it’s nestled between.
