Image description: A collage about autistic voice and volume control vis-a-vis Alastor in “Anguish of the Marrow”. The top border reads “How can one have autism and something to say? Autistic voice is the ultimate oxymoron.” The bottom border reads “That’s just her autism talking, talking, talking. That’s just her– autism talking.” The body of the collage is quotations from the Anguish of the Marrow series over an image of Alastor tapping his microphone in front of Charlie and Vaggie from the pilot. Charlie is bright-eyed, and Vaggie’s eye is closed as she crumples with weary exasperation. All of the quotations are about Alastor being very loud. End description. If you need/want a more descriptive description (a transcription of all the quotations), please let me know and I will add that.
The text forming the borders is from Clinically Significant Disturbance: On Theorists Who Theorize Theory of Mind. I highly recommend it; it's one of my favorite essays in the world. Please note that Yergeau now goes by M. Remi Yergeau, not by the first name they were still using at the time of publication of the paper. They now use they/them/theirs pronouns.
