Image description: A painting of God the Father as a white man in the clouds with the text "I had a bad dream/You said you loved me" superimposed on the image. End description.
Yes, this collage technically has no text or fanart for "Anguish of the Marrow", but I was seized by a mighty need to make this collage, and it's certainly inspired by Alastor's relationship with JHVH in "Anguish of the Marrow". Credit to Eiiri for making me think of "Nightmare" with regards to Alastor, specifically with his relationship to Vox. I've been thinking about how "I had a bad dream/you said you loved me" has been feeling like not (just) an aromantic mood but a mood with regards to my parents (I would hate to actually be a person they loved. I must endure them claiming to love me and know they only mean an idea of me. This is, again, more tolerable than actually being a person they as the people they are could love, especially my father.) I'm also a queer ex-Catholic.
